Who is Adedeji?
I’m a Visual Artist, a freelance graphics designer and a content creator
What inspired you to go into typography ?
I was inspired to start making typography portraits out of my personal urge to be different, owning a personal art style to express Art In the best way I could, I just feel words go a long way in our lives and I felt using words to create artworks wouldn’t be a bad idea at all
Where were you born and raised ?
I was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria. My primary and secondary school days was spent in Ogun State before moving back to Lagos fully.
How did your business come into lime light?
My work came into limelight after working consistently and developing my art style in the space of two years and I had the opportunity to work with few influential people that loved my art style and that was how it got to a larger audience. It was really new style to everyone and i believe that enabled people to like my works more.
What are your hobbies?
Aside from typography art I’m a heavy music listener, I love to travel and I’m a great lover of photography.
Lesson learnt through life?
In life I’ve learnt some little lessons on my own and part of them is that “creativity and pressure” don’t work together, you’re more creative when you have the freedom to make mistakes. I’ve also learnt that there’s always reward for hard work, consistency is key in whatever we do.
